The Rode NT-SF1 Ambisonic Microphone is a 360-degree portable microphone designed for 3D audio production. The Rode NT-SF1 combines the innovation of SoundField’s ambisonic microphone with years of microphone-making expertise from Rode. The Ambisonic microphone features a redesigned capsule, custom-made by Rode, providing ultra-low noise performance with an extended frequency response. The ambisonic design ensures the best possible spatialisation for 3D audio processing. The NT-SF1 is ideal for a range of applications including 3D soundscapes for VR applications, foley work, ensemble recording and more. This microphone is only available for use in our studio, or on hire to other professional studios.
