Powder Mill Productions is an events company built on passion, creativity, and decades of hands-on experience. Part of The Hop Farm complex in Beltring, Paddock Wood, we provide full-service event production, from professional sound and lighting to mobile bars and bespoke décor. Whether it is a wedding, festival, or corporate function, our mission is simple: to create unforgettable experiences with professionalism, warmth, and a personal touch.
Our Story
Our journey began in a small barn on Powder Mill Lane in Leigh, a stone’s throw from the old gunpowder factory that inspired our name. Friends and musicians James and Andy founded Powder Mill Productions with a love of live sound and a drive to deliver exceptional event experiences.
What started as a small AV depot quickly expanded, leading us to Olby’s Creative Hub in Margate and our current base at The Hop Farm in Paddock Wood, where we operate as part of The Kent Wedding Centre. While our Ashford depot has now closed, we continue to serve clients in that area through our delivery network. Along the way, we added a cutting-edge Dolby Atmos recording studio and found ourselves branching into mobile bars, prop hire, and wedding décor.
Today, we are proud to serve clients across Kent, London, and the South East, from intimate gatherings to multi-stage festivals.
